About Us
Our Bee Story
We first got into beekeeping back in 2008 when our three kids were young and life was busy. We moved back to the St. Louis area after Mike got out of the military in 2005. Mike had an interest in bees since his dad raised them when he was growing up.
We started with a few hives on our deck and while our youngest was napping, I would go out on the deck and read for my college classes, just hanging out with the bees. I was surprised by how calm they were and how close I could be to them. We enjoyed the bees and had a strong desire to increase and restore the honey bee populations. We learned all we could about bees and our knowledge increased with experience over time.
The few hives grew to a few more pretty quickly and we kept the bees on property not far from home. We were always thinking of more places we could put bees, and now we have multiple spots where we keep them. They are lots of work but it is rewarding! We have rescued many swarms and rehomed them, removed bees from some funny places in homes or even from a mausoleum. Bees are so productive and are so beneficial for our food system. More bees also equals more bee products such as honey, beeswax, propolis and pollen. I hope to create products that are beneficial to consumers and will help improve their lifestyle.
Life is much sweeter with bees!
What We Do
Hello, we are a small veteran owned bee business located about 25 mile south of St. Louis Missouri. We have several bee colonies in the area including Arnold, Imperial, Barnhart, House Springs, and St. Charles. We are proud to use chemical-free beekeeping practices in our apiaries. Our honey is pure, raw and local. We sell nucs, queens, and offer swarm removals, hive rentals for pollination and bee services. We also also use honey and beeswax in many of the skincare products that we sell.
